Ekeri Oy is a leading producer of box van semi-trailers, box van drawbar trailers and truck bodies in Scandinavia. Ekeri is also well known in Europe as a specialist in box van trailers with side opening doors.
Ekeri has developed several innovative improvements for truck and trailer equipment. Ekeri teamed up with ionSign to develop EkeGuard, the truck trailer surveillance and control system.
EkeGuard is operated with a simple wireless remote control unit, controlling central locking, alarm, weights display, temperature display, GPS position, on/off switch for interior lights and adjustment of rear air suspension. In an emergency situation it is possible to position the trailer unit via mobile phone or internet. ionSign developed and realized the whole system with sensor reading, control and wireless remote operation.
