What Are Neutron Loggers Used For?
Ii municipality (pronounced “ee”) a town of ten thousand people in northern Finland, engaged in tight carbon reduction targets. The starting point was to monitor consumptions with some twenty Neutron12 units.
Based on the data, Ii’s actions were so succesful, that the 80% reduction target was rescheduled from the original year 2030 to 2020.
In May 2017, the Agenda2030 youth group awarded Ii with their special prize of sustainable development. In October 2017, The European Union awarded Ii with the RegioStars Prize in climate action category.
Fabriq is about energy monitoring, sustainability management and smart building operations. Improving by identifying inefficiencies – for energy, but also water, waste, air quality, wellbeing and more. Result sharing engages all building stakeholders, from landlords to tenants.
ionSign’s loggers are a part of Fabriq’s portfolio, and data has to be automatically imported into the Fabriq OS at high frequency intervals. The adopted solution uses a data forward approach, where devices are managed in ionSign Cloud, data is converted into the Fabriq format and forwarded real-time in JSON format. Development work was light and fast.
